About The Dart Society
The Dart Society is a non-profit organization of journalists who advance the compassionate and ethical coverage of trauma, conflict, and social injustice.
Every year the Dart Society funds unique programs. One of those programs is featured in the film Breaking News, Breaking Down.
“Target New Orleans” helped journalists from around the world to play a role in the rebirth of New Orleans. It also gave journalists in New Orleans a chance to talk to a journalist who understood what they were grappling with.
Over the years, the Dart Society has also sponsored journalists to go to places and tell stories that you might never see or hear.
